ACET Business All Star

ACET maintains All-Star status after achieving their third Business All-Star Accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Business All-Star accredited companies are defined as; progressive, indigenous Irish businesses which meet the highest standards of verified performance, trust and customer-centricity.

The Accreditation is an outstanding achievement for ACET as it shows they have maintained their high standards and are still providing a best in class service to their customers. It’s an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. It is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

Responding to today’s announcement, Joelle Coade, Managing Director of ACET says, We are delighted to have achieved the coveted Business All-Star Accreditation for a third year in a row. The Accreditation has been superb PR for our company, which shows that ACET meets the highest standards of verified performance, trust and customer-centricity.

It is an outstanding achievement for us, which recognises the hard work and dedication of our team.

“Our staff are our most important asset and as professionals, working in a demanding and challenging environment, coupled with the additional challenges in this current tough climate, it is important that we have structures and processes in place to demonstrate our commitment to improving our service for our customers. I would like to thank Kieran Ring and the team at the All-Ireland Business Foundation for all their hard work, commitment and support.”

Kieron Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board said in support of the announcement:

“This certificate verifies that ACET (Active Centre of English Training) has achieved AIBF 2021-1008 Business All-Stars Accreditation, for the third year, in recognition of the company’s conduct in the areas of trust, performance and customer-centricity. ACET is hereby included in the AIBF Register of Irish Business Excellence.”

Dr Hynes said the Accreditation, which is now held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she says.

ACET is a family-run language centre, which was founded in 1975 by their CEO Odile Migieu as Cork Language Centre International (CLCI). As ACET expanded, Odile’s husband, Pat Coade, who has worked as a quality consultant, joined the centre in 1989. Their daughter, Joelle began working in ACET in 2000, after graduating in Management and Marketing.

Today, ACET is the oldest remaining school of its kind in Ireland. In 2012, they decided to rebrand from CLCI to Active Centre of English Training (ACET) to reflect on their modern, proactive and innovative philosophy. Their long-standing experience and customer-focused approach has given them a leading name for quality within the industry. The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an ongoing basis. The process to select the next group of Business All-Star accredited companies has begun and further information is available at businessallstars.ie
